This project went through a period of growing pains and hovered on on
the brink of halting, but your suggestions and recommendations resurrected the
possibilities and enthusiasm of the project's original objectives. I sincerely
hope you will find the results satisfactory and choose to order one, two, or a
dozen t-shirts. Below are two samples of the graphic and text possibilities for
the front of the t-shirt.

The price quoted is for the popular Hanes Beefy T's (100% cotton). The Catkiller
Crest can be printed on White, Ash (or Birch) and Natural colored t-shirts.
How is the shirt graphic affixed? Leon Skeen uses either an ALPS MD1000
Printer or a Brother HL-2600CN color laser printer. The Alps is a high quality
dot matrix printer which uses a waterproof ink. It is used mainly for printing
waterslide decals (like you find on model cars) and for high quality photos. The
Brother color laser uses dye sublimation toner. For T-shirts, it is
printed on Duracotton laser transfer paper (http://www.bestimagesolutions.com/duracotton.htm).
His experience has shown that the transfer last as long as silk screen transfers
(approx. 50 washing cycles is the expected life of a shirt and transfer) if the
washing instructions are followed. As with any printed T-shirt, it should be
turned wrong side out before washing, washed in cold water (without clorine
bleach), and line dried. Most of the designs he has for Catkillers are for
letter sized paper but he can also use legal size.
The second most attractive feature of the purchase of one of Leon's t-shirts
is that you can select the text you would like printed on the shirt. If you
prefer "Phu Bai Was Alright," then go ahead and have it printed on your shirt.
If the shirt is for your grandchild, you might opt for "Granddad was a Catkiller."
Whatever you choose for the text, that text must fit within the width limit of
the graphic printer, so think short statements (CATKILLER MOM, CATKILLER WIFE,
etc.). Remember, CATKILLER is one word, not two words like the photo shows.
Can I order from the graphic maker? Yes, you can. Here is what Leon Skeen said about our group order:
